The Solons were an original Pacific Coast League team. Sacramento is the capital of California and the team nickname comes from  an early Greek lawmaker whose name became a synonym for "Senators".

    Nice hat,looks alot like a modern day Stanford Cardinal hat. I have an Ebbets 1949 San Diego PCL hat that looks like a Syracuse Orangemen cap.
